In The Criminal (In)justice System, Lisa Orloff draws on more than three decades of work with attorneys representing people facing federal charges, including murder, drug trafficking, and conspiracy. Her abstract acrylic paintings reflect her work as a forensic social worker, where she listens to her clients’ life stories and prepares reports that help the court understand the experiences that shaped them.
Please Join us at The 1978 Maplewood Arts Center on Saturday12/12/26 from 2-5pm for an opening reception with light refreshments.
Her work will remain on view throughout December.
10% of proceeds will go to Books Through Bars, a volunteer-run organization that sends donated books to incarcerated people across the country.
