Maplewood Township Venues

Besides The Woodland and the Burgdorff Center, there are a number of other Maplewood township venues that can be rented for events and performances. The township is eager to work with local arts and culture presenters and organizations to accommodate their needs.

  • Maplewood Outdoor Venues

    An abundance of beautiful municipal parks fill our neighborhoods. They are filled with people playing sports, on playgrounds, and picnicking; they offer some great natural event venues. The Springfield Avenue Gazebo is a favorite gathering place for musical events. Contact the Maplewood Department of Recreation for info and pricing for each venue.

  • Community Center, DeHart Park

    The DeHart Community Center is a township building widely used by residents for musical performances and recitals, clubs, exercise classes, senior citizens programs, and other activities. Its largest room, the James Buchanan Room, is a large multipurpose performance venue; basic kitchen facilities are available.

  • The Maplewood Memorial Library

    The Maplewood Memorial Library offers meeting rooms for use by the public. Activities taking place in the Library’s meeting rooms must be free and open to the public. Rooms available for rent include: Hilton Branch: 1688 Springfield Avenue, Maplewood

  • Maplewood Senior Center

    There are exercise, meditation, gardening, informational programs and lunch gatherings happening at the Maplewood Senior Center at 106 Burnett Avenue, and you are welcome to join us!

    Offering a robust schedule that includes multiple fitness classes, group trips, lunches and movies; we also welcome you to bring your own friends and use our space to meet and mingle.
