Samarth Nagarkar Kyal Ensemble and Maplewood Arts & Culture Present When Ragas Bloom: Spring Comes Alive In Music

Experience the vibrant colors of spring through the mesmerizing world of raga music. When Ragas Bloom is a unique Indian classical vocal (Khyal) concert featuring ragas (melodic frameworks) and compositions that embody the Spring. Presented by the Samarth Nagarkar Khyal Ensemble,  held at the historic Burgdoff Center for Performing Arts in Maplewood, this concert is a collaboration between Raga Sangeet Creative and the Maplewood Division of Arts and Culture.

Samarth Nagarkar, known for his soulful renditions and stylistic depth, will be leading the ensemble. Accompanying him are Rigved Deshpande on Tabla, and Rohan Prabhudesai on Harmonium, both known for sentitive and skillful accompaniment. The evening will feature a special surprise guest, who could be a musician, dancer, or poet, adding an unexpected twist to the performance.
