Maplewood resident Stephane Wrembel is one of the world’s most highly regarded guitarists, renowned for his mastery of the style of legendary composer Django Reinhardt. Originally from France, Wrembel has toured internationally and released more than 20 albums. His original compositions have been featured in Midnight in Paris (“Bistro Fada”), Vicky Cristina Barcelona (“Big Brother”), and Rifkin’s Festival (original score). Midnight in Paris received the Grammy® Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack.
Django New Orleans is a 9-piece specialty group fusing New Orleans brass and rhythms with the spellbinding guitar style of “Jazz Manouche.”
