Classic Maplewood is honored to present a concert celebrating great composers of African descent. Our very special guest, Prof. Richard Alston, concert pianist and Maplewood resident, will be joined by baritone Jim Pierce, violinist Ashley Horne, and cellist Leo Grinhauz, also a Maplewood resident, and co-founder of Classic Maplewood. Concert highlights will feature Prof Alston's solo playing, beloved spirituals, and the monumental Roots II, by David Baker.
