Likely Stories

  • The Woodland 60 Woodland Road Maplewood, NJ, 07040 United States (map)

For 15 years, Likely Stories has brought Maplewood/South Orange the exuberance, hilarity and profundity of short stories that challenge us to experience something new.

This year’s readers are Sipiwe Moyo of Orange is the New Black, Julie Burstein of NPR and TED TALKS, Robert DuSold, Broadway performer and Creative Producer, and Emily Zacharias, director and Broadway veteran. They’ll bring us into powerful, moving short stories by William Trevor, Nathan Englander, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, each one exploring the surprising paths we find ourselves on when we let life happen to us.

Join us at the Woodland, and stay for the wine and dessert after-party with the performers. Tickets for Likely Stories are $25 at somadultschool.org or 973.378.7620.
