Rose Flanagan
I have been an artist creating with all kinds of materials most of my life. I have spent most of my working career in some form of creative field. I worked as a jewelry designer for 25 years and am currently an art teacher. The art I create and my pottery collection combine my love of sculpture, painting and gardening and all things natural. My work is an extension of myself. Each piece is unique even when it is one of multiples. I use photos I take of my garden for inspiration in my floral designs. My travels to Japan have influenced my sensibility in shape and form. My love of color drives my designs. I consider myself a maximalist. I have many different styles and collections. The pottery collection is made with high fire stone ware and uses food safe glazes.
