Petra Pankow
Founded by Petra Pankow in Maplewood, NJ in the fall of 2021, bloom ceramics grew out a desire for objects and experiences that are tangible, tactile, and textured - sources of comfort and enchantment. Inspired by the lopsided forms of the natural world, all ceramic objects in bloom’s collection are made by hand, slowly and mindfully, each unique, with the intention of adding a little poetry to everyday rituals – a cup of tea, a lit candle, a flower brought in from outside to be temporarily housed in a vessel that came itself from the earth.
